Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love.

Mommy's Little Helper, Part 4

Mommy washed all the windows. Elliana helped! She actually did try to wash the windows just like mommy was. She is the best little helper ever!

Happy Birthday Uncle Tony!

Mommy's Little Helper, Part 3

Now Elliana has her own apron so she can help mommy in the kitchen.

Ellie and her Grandpas

Elliana loves to spend time with her grandpas.
Grandpa Frank likes to go to the mall with Ellie to eat lunch and walk around.
Grandpa Randy loves his days babysitting Ellie (and letting mommy sleep). They love to sit and read the newspaper together.

Italian Baby

Eating pasta with red sauce and meatballs for dinner. Messy, but yummy!

Zoo Day with Mommy

Elliana and I had a great trip to the zoo today. The weather was perfect, an unseasonably warm October day in the upper 70's. Ellie loved seeing all of the animals. She even has learned to correctly identify ducks (she pointed at ducks and said "duck"). The zoo was decorated for fall and Halloween. She looked adorable sitting on the bails of hay with the scarecrow.
She went to the children's zoo and got to see animals up close. She petted a goat and sheep, but she was a little "sheepish" around the sheep (pardon the pun, just couldn't help myself).
We rode on the train for the first time. She loved waving at all the people at the crossings. I believe she thought she was the princess in a parade!
Ellie and mommy can't wait to have another girl's trip to the zoo!

Diaper Duty

Ellie was on diaper duty today. Mommy brought in the cases of diapers and wipes. Elliana decided they were a toy. She spent over an hour pushing them around and climbing on the boxes. She has so many nice (and expensive) toys, and she chooses a diaper box! Go figure!
Almost looks like she is defying gravity in this one!
Climbing over the diaper box.
Blowing kisses. All mommy has to say is, "Ellie, blow kisses," and she does!

Mommy's Little Helper, Part 2

Elliana is such a help in the kitchen. Monday she helped mommy unload the dishwasher. She actually did hand me some dishes. Then she promptly climbed in the dishwasher! No matter what mommy loves the fact that Ellie tries to help.

Pushing her Pound Puppy

Ellie loves to push her stroller around. Usually Julius is sitting in it, but the other day she decided that Marshmallow (her giant Pound Puppy) should ride instead. Yes, Ellie really put Marshmallow in the stroller all by herself. Sometimes random objects like shoes also ride along. She loves her little stroller!
