Not the way I was left!

This is not how we left Ellie in her crib last night...but this is how we found her this morning!

Welcome Spring!

What a great first day of Spring! The weather is amazing (too bad it's going to get cold again). We took Elliana to Fort Liberty. There is a bike/walking path and a play area. She loved it! We went on a nice walk as a family then took Ellie to the play area. She went down the slide with mommy...
Played on the swings with daddy...
And enjoyed the nice weather just being outside...

It was a great day spent as a family! We can't wait for more nice spring days spent together!

7 Months

Hard to believe, but Elliana is 7 months old today! It seems like just yesterday that my baby girl was born. Every month I have been taking pictures on the 14th to show her growth. Here's this month...

Notice we had to have Ellie's two favorite toys with her - Julius and Daisy. Can't do anything without them anymore!
I tried to get Ellie to hold her sign. It didn't work quite as I had planned.

It's hard to tell, but in the background of the sign is the symbol for pi. It is pi day - 3.14. Sorry to those who don't love math the way I do!

Easter Pictures!

Today Elliana went for her glamor shots (with a bunch of help from Grandma!). They turned out so amazing! She is the most photogenic baby ever. According to the photographer it isn't even a challenge to shoot her, and every photo turns out great which made picking so hard! Here are a few of the best ones.
Our gorgeous girl!
Ellie Bunny!

So happy about the Easter bunny coming to see her!

A little DIVA

In her beautiful Easter dress...
Other updates...I caught Ellie rolling from her back to her tummy yesterday. I was doing yoga and turned away for a brief second. When I turned back, I thought to myself, "That is not how I left you!" She had turned herself over! She is also trying to army crawl. She gets her knees under her now and scoots an inch or two at a time if she wants her toys bad enough. A mobile baby coming soon to a house near me! This amazing little girl never does cease to amaze me!

Got milk?

The Mother's Milk Bank of Ohio sure does! Today Ellie and I went to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center to drop off our first donation. We gave them 900 ounces out of the freezer...and that didn't even clean out my freezer. There is still another freezer full at my mom and dad's. Here is what we donated. In the last week Elliana has really got the hang of the sitting up! She is doing so well! She can sit up for around 5 minutes at a time and she catches her balance if she starts to wobble now. She never ceases to amaze me.

An IT guys daughter

Ellie received her first laptop from grandma and grandpa for Christmas. She loves to play with it. No wonder - Pete does IT for a living! Pete the quote is just for you - remember this when you are having a rough day at work!

"So easy a 6 month old can do it!"
(Then why does mommy have so much trouble?)

In Honor of the Olympics...

For the last 2 weeks, Ellie and I have spent a lot of our day watching the Olympics (or at least it was on in the background while we played). We learned about crazy sports like moguls and curling. Is curling really a sport?!? Since the Olympics are over now, we are presenting this post in honor. Instead of the daily medal count, we have today's outfit count.
Elliana - 4
Mommy - 2
Don't ask too many questions...it wasn't pretty!
